Job Description
- Assemble complex electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies following engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
- Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical fastening while handling small components with high precision
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation to ensure accurate builds
- Operate hand tools, measurement equipment, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively to meet production targets
- Conduct quality checks and monitor production processes, reporting any deviations or malfunctions promptly
- Troubleshoot basic issues and perform minor repairs, working closely with Engineering and Production teams
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with safety and quality protocols
Requirements
- Technical Diploma or equivalent hands-on experience (IPC, OSHA, or SMTA certifications is advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field
- Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly techniques
- Excellent attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- Good visual acuity to identify and handle small components accurately
